How To Log Out From Twitter App For iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad

I am guessing the main reason why you are now reading this post and it is because you wanted to know how to log out from Twitter app  on your iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, or any of the Apple devices you are currently using. Am I right? Well, don’t be embarrassed because you are not the only one who experienced that simple yet frustrating problem. I was guilty back then as well.  And for that reason I am going to share with you on how to log out from Twitter app on your iDevice. The steps are easy after I tried it on iPhone 4S. Yeah, as I’ve mentioned you are not the only one who felt stupid for not knowing it earlier but now… well.

There are so many reasons why people like us use social media applications such as Twitter. It could be personal, business, or some people wanted to know what’s going on around them. But whatever reasons each of us have, it is only appropriate that we sign-out or log out from any social media apps we have on our device like iPhone. How To Sign-out/Log out From Twitter App

If you noticed the Twitter application on your iPhone 4S or any of your Apple devices, you only have a couple of buttons to tap and none of them seem to lead you to a menu where you can sign-out or log out from Twitter app. It’s not a bug. It just so happens that the menu we’re all looking for is not really within the Twitter app. So where is it exactly? The shortest answer that I can give you is that the option we’re all looking for is inside your iPhone’s Settings.  But to further show you how to log out from Twitter app, check out the steps below.

1. From your Home Screen, tap on Settings;

 

2. Scroll down until you see Twitter. Tap it.

 

3. Inside the Twitter settings, you should see your account name there or your Twitter username. The one I am using is my Twitter account, @eyesfortech. Tap your username or if you already have multiple accounts there, tap the one you wanted to log out.

4. You should see the screen below. To log out from Twitter app, you need to tap the button Delete Account. Don’t worry, by doing so doesn’t mean that your Twitter account will be deleted. It only means that you are signing out from this device.

Basically that’s it! You have successfully log out or signed out from your Twitter app.  You can always go back by signing in your Twitter account.
