Android Jelly Bean Update For Samsung Galaxy S II On Q4

The most awaited Android 4.1 operating system also known as Jelly Bean update will soon to land on all Samsung Galaxy S II users.  Actually it’s not only Samsung Galaxy S II which will receive the Jelly Bean update before the end of this year.  According to the reports, the update will also land on Galaxy Note tech consumers. Now, that’s really something worth waiting for and when that happens we will all enjoy now the latest and most responsive (so far) Android operating system for handheld devices. It’s been already months when the I have updated my Samsung Galaxy S II with Ice Cream Sandwich. And I can honestly say that I enjoyed the improvements I experienced with the last update.  This time I want to see how my smartphone fares with the latest Android operating system.

Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Updates

According to the latest report, Samsung is still testing Galaxy S II with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update also known as Project Butter.  As we all know, Samsung Galaxy S II is still hot and it is still one of the best-selling Android smartphone in the mobile market. I don’t think there will be any reasons why Samsung won’t give the latest update for us owners. But is something happens or there will be a change of heart from Samsung’s end I am pretty sure that the company will still provide an update – probably close to the performance of Jelly Bean update but will still run on ICS or Ice Cream Sandwich. Let us just hope it will be the new Android 4.1.

More on this report says that the latest flagship smartphone, Samsung Galaxy S III, already passed the firmware testing and currently they are working on the public version. The green light will now depend on the completion of the public version and Google’s agreement.

Also, it was said that Samsung Galaxy Note also known as the phablet will probably get the same update by the last quarter of 2012. They have the same fate as with Samsung Galaxy S II. The tests seems to be progressive but there are no words yet from the company if they will be releasing it for this smartphone.

Another hint is the Android version that Samsung Galaxy Note II will bear on its debut this coming IFA 2012.  Currently, it is still being tested under Android 4.0 and there is still no confirmation if this will use the latest Android 4.1 version.

Let us just cross our fingers and hope that we get what we all wish for and that is the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update.  You can follow the updates here and check out SamMobile for more information.
