Android 4.0.3 ICS Update For T-Mobile Galaxy S II, HTC Amaze 4G, Sensation 4G Spotted
Almost all of the leading network carriers are now getting the latest Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS update). Even so, one of the known network carrier, T-Mobile, has been so meek about their ICS update plan but thanks to the information from TmoNews. The report shows an internal schedule plan as to when T-Mobile will be rolling-out the latest Android operating system for three of the popular Android smartphones – Samsung Galaxy S II, HTC Amaze 4G, and HTC Sensation 4G. Soon, even T-Mobile tech-consumers will enjoy the features of ICS on their smart phones.

TmoNews have shown us all T-Mobile’s Sales Operations Services 2012 – Enterprise Calendar and on that plan, it clearly shows T-Mobile’s plan for the ICS update. The first one to get the Ice Cream Sandwich update will be the Samsung Galaxy S II and the date will be on May 14, while HTC Sensation 4G and HTC Amaze 4G will get the ICS update on June 16. It is a big possibility that even if this report is valid, a company should protect its integrity in making press releases. A software update official press release like Android OS should be handled carefully because there are cases that it might be released on the promised date due to some last-minute bugs that might pop-out. This kind of scene already happened in the Philippines where Samsung Philippines initially reported that the ICS update will be released and at the end of the day, Samsung Korea denies that report and said the it was not true. So it’s understandable and acceptable if T-Mobile wants to be on the safe side. Again, let us not put too much high hopes with this report because it may or may not happen. But what’s more important is that there’s indeed a plan from T-Mobile. Samsung and HTC to update their devices.
It’s been like two weeks now since I have updated my Samsung Galaxy S II with the latest Android OS and so far I’ve been enjoying it. Although I am seeing some problems and one of them is the default Internet browser which is crashing whenever I use it. I don’t know what other issues I might discover in the coming days. I hope it can be fixed on the succeeding bug fixes update.
