LG Optimus 4X HD Debuts At MWC 2012
The next Mobile World Congress 2012 is due on the 27th of February but LG made an early announcement on what to expect from them on that prestigious day. They proudly announced their next flagship quad-core powered Android Smartphone - LG Optimus 4X HD before the main event from their official website. At least we’re seeing some improvement from LG and they wanted to ensure that they are still in the bandwagon competing for the best mobile showcase with the most updated specifications. LG Optimus 4X HD will be one of the smartphones that LG will be showcasing in the aforementioned event this coming Monday at Barcelona, Spain.

We don’t have the full details about the LG Optimus 4X HD, but LG was so kind enough to provide us the main highlights of their next quad-core flagship smartphone. LG was not so loved by many when they introduced to the world their Android 2.3 Gingerbread version of smartphones and everyone is hoping that they would be see some major change today.
LG Optimus 4X HD as I’ve said is powered by 1.5GHz quad-core mobile processor NVIDIA Tegra 3. This is the world’s ONLY 4-PLUS-1 mobile processor which is designed for high usage of multimedia capabilities of your device but also handles the battery consumption with its fifth battery saver core . This fifth battery saver core will be your only hope not to drain easily your battery even with your lowest application’s processor usage i.e. standby mode. You can now also enjoy playing high definition (HD) games without lagging with its 12core GPU (graphics processing unit). And most of all, with a 4.7 inches display screen – superb! The display screen has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels – a True HD IPS.
The memory storage of LG Optimus 4X HD isn’t also bad at all. It has a 16GB eMMC internal memory and 1GB LP DDR2 where you can save and store your photos, videos and files. And speaking of photos, this beast also sports 2 cameras – one in the rear and another in the front like any new smartphones. The one in the rear is an 8MP camera with BSI (Backside Illumination) sensor and LED flash. While the other one in the front is a standard 1.3MP which can be utilized on video chatting.
The most important feature of all is that LG Optimus 4X HD sports the latest Android OS (operating system) which is Android OS version 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. This Android OS version is said to be the most stable operating system for Android devices.
Pricing and other details of this smartphone won’t be out yet until the MWC 2012. But it was said that UK will be the first to receive this LG Optimus 4X HD beast.
