Download Temple Run For Android – Will Soon Be Available

First of all, this is to confirm that Temple Run will soon be available and ready for download in Android Market according to the same developers who created this new popular game in iOS – Imangi Studios, LLC. But the date is still indefinite and hard to really pin down. Although there are some speculations and rumors spreading that Temple Run will be available for download on the 24th of February – not true! Imangi Studios, LLC already confirmed that the release date are all nothing but a mere rumor on their tweet last week. But the good news is they finally confirmed and admitted that they are working on the Temple Run for Android OS devices. Here’s @imangi’s tweet on the 17th of February:

There you have it I told you it’s true, didn’t I?  So for you guys and gals out there who doesn’t own an iOS device but have and loves Android OS smartphones and slated devices, the long wait will soon be over.  You don’t have to spend your savings just to buy an iPhone 4S, iPod Touch or even an iPad just to experience and enjoy playing Temple Run.

Temple Run was originally created and compatible for iPhone and iPad iOS devices by the Apple developers named Imangi Studios.  If you are familiar or have seen Indiana Jones sequels then I guess when you see this game it will remind you of the main character from that movie.  The gist of Temple Run game is for the player to ensure that won’t fall or caught while he races down this ancient looking temple walls and should be able to immediately swipe when there’s a need to turn, slide or jump to avoid those annoying obstacles along the way. And yes, for you to gain more points you should be able to collect as many coins as possible while running.  It’s really quite addictive once you start playing it and the fun part of the game is that you can boast your score against your friends by posting your achievements and high score in Facebook – bragging rights!
