However, for this application to function as intended you will need to ensure that your device’s Internet connection is always on – this means that you always need or keep your data services on. By default, when you purchase an iPhone 4S the data services configuration or setting is always turned on. There’s no problem with that if you ask me only if your data plan subscription covers unlimited access to the Internet. However, if you’re a prepaid subscriber then leaving your data services on will drain all of your available credits. Not to mention that with your data services turned on it can also drain your battery faster than a regular smartphone. So, here’s a procedure on how you can turn on or off the data services of your iPhone 4S.
How To Turn On/Off Data Services Of iPhone 4S:
1. Press your Home button and go to Menu;
2. Then tap on Settings icon;
3. Look and tap on General;
4. Then tap on Network;
5. You will see Cellular Data on the topmost part of Network screen;
6. To turn on or off the data services, just swipe the Cellular Data and check the indicator.
